James Scott was born in Australia in a place called Leongatha, in Gippsland, Victoria. He moved to Hastings, New Zealand when he was 8 years old. He received his first camera for his 12th birthday. He has been a keen photographer ever since. He is married to wife, Lynette, and has two children, Carmel & Steven. Jim moved to the USA in 1991, is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, and currently works in Modesto, CA, USA, as a Freelance Photographer. |
